In accordance with the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012, Regulatory Decree 1377 of 2013, External Circular 002 of 2015 issued by the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce, the internal information management policy implemented by IRENT COLOMBIA and other concordant regulations, which establish general provisions on habeas data and regulate the processing of information containing personal data,
This policy includes the Authorization for the Management and Use of Personal Data. These documents are available to you on our Website. Please note that if, 30 days after entering your information into our databases, you have not contacted iRent to request a different treatment for your personal data, iRENT will continue to apply the Personal Data Protection Policy mentioned above, without prejudice to your right to exercise your rights at any time.

By accepting this policy, you:

  • You freely, voluntarily, previously, explicitly, informedly and unequivocally authorize iRENT to collect, store, use, circulate, delete and, in general, process the personal data that I have provided or will provide, under the legally established terms, by virtue of the legal, contractual, commercial and/or any other relationships that may arise, in the development and execution of the purposes described in this document.

  • This authorization to process your personal data extends for the entire period during which a relationship with iRENT may be established or persists for any reason, and beyond the termination of the relationship, provided that such processing is related to the purposes for which the personal data were initially provided.

  • Likewise, through this text you have been informed and acknowledge the rights granted to the owner of personal data by law and jurisprudence, which include, among other prerogatives, those listed below: (i) To know, update, and rectify personal data with respect to those responsible for or in charge of processing. This right may be exercised, among others, against partial, inaccurate, incomplete, fractional, or misleading data, or data whose processing is expressly prohibited or has not been authorized; (ii) To request proof of the authorization granted to the data controller, except when expressly exempted as a requirement for processing; (iii) To be informed by the data controller or the data processor, upon request, regarding the use that has been given to my personal data; (iv) To file complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce for violations of the personal data protection regime; (v) revoke authorization and/or request the deletion of personal data when the processing does not respect the constitutional and legal principles, rights and guarantees, (vi) access free of charge my personal data that have been subject to processing.
